1. The progress you have made on your process improvement plan.

Over the past few weeks I have made some changes to my improvement plan.  I changed to changing the talent acquisition process of the organization.  I created a reasonable timeline to implement the changes to achieve the desired results.  The overall timeline is 2 years but inside those 2 years there are 4 mini-goals each with their own time line.  This will help keep the team focused and not burnout.

2.  Any challenges you had when you were completing the assignments so far.

I have not had any real challenges as of yet, well at least until this week.  The budget is kicking my behind.  Especially with it being Thanksgiving and all.  But the biggest issue with the budget is that since it is an organization inside the DOD I am not used to the whole budget thing.  Like paying employees.  They already are.  But I will work through it and figure it out I am sure. Just a current struggle right now with a house full of people.  Sunday looks to be a long day.

3. Your approach to overcoming these challenges.

I think with these issues with the budget I will have to play pretend and make up some realistic numbers.  But between something I did not think about at the beginning of the semester when picking a project (budget) and having all my kids (4) home from their college and attempting to get as much time in with them as possible.  Time is scarce this week.  I will put a new meaning into Sunday Funday this week.
