The next issue that the planning phase will unearth is the qualification of the rest of the workers in each department. The company seems to apply a non-professional way of employment. In the corporate world, the human resource department is the only section in any organization mandated to oversee the recruitment of new employees. The HR department is believed to be free and fair hence would only employ only those who will best serve the organization (Buyens et al. 2002, p. 32). However, Blaze Mining Company lets the department heads personally select a team that will carry out the departmental functions. This is outright wrong as it creates an environment where favoritism becomes a norm. The departmental heads are likely to pick those they know and not those with the required skills and expertise. The result is a disoriented organization where every task is performed with no expertise. Such an organizational system will not enable Blaze Mining Company to achieve its goals and objective.
