People will act in their self interest. As a matter of fact, a market economy depends on "self interest" to function. What would our economy be like today if individuals were not concerned with material things and financial wealth? What if we simply bartered for everything? Would our economy grow?

With that said, is the pursuit of ALL self interest in a contract unethical? If not, at what point does it become unethical?
