Question

A multidisciplinary team made providing care efficient and improved patient care. Opening more beds to be used for palliative care only also aided in the process of providing quality care. By Providing better quality through the adaptation of multiple disciplines made it easier for staff to meet the needs of the patients thus reducing the amount of risk and boosting the quality not only for patients but also for their families and staff. It cut down the amount of stress that both families and staff were experiencing when trying to provide quality care to the critically ill patients. As a healthcare manager it would be in the best interests of the management teams to investigate providing a multiple disciplinary team to handle what each team member is best trained for as well as to continue education into the latest and best resources that can be used to provide quality and efficient healthcare. As an administrator these lessons can be used to boost productivity and reduce risk management to provide quality care for patients, their families as well as reducing stress on staff and facilities.
