Leadership and Principles of Leadership Assignment

This assignment is divided into two parts.

Part 1 Format: Essay

Choose a historical leader who you believe exercised effective leadership. Note that effective leadership does not necessarily have to mean "good" leadership (from a values perspective). After providing a brief introduction about the leader, critically discuss his/her leadership in terms of how effective it appeared to be and evaluate the leadership style, or combination of styles, he/she used (link the leadership style/s to appropriate leadership theories e.g. those relating to traits, behaviour and/or situation/s). You should consider using a table or matrix to assist you in matching theory with your chosen example.

Part 2 Format: Essay
