Renewable energy project would be the implementation of a solar photovoltaic (PV) system in a rural village in Ghana. The location of this project is in the village of Agomanya, located in the Eastern Region of Ghana. This village currently has limited access to electricity, which is primarily provided by diesel fuel generators. By installing a solar PV system, the village would be able to access a more reliable and cost-effective form of renewable energy.

The solar PV system that I would install would be composed of a number of photovoltaic panels connected to a battery bank and inverter, allowing the village to store energy during the day and use it at night (Kwawu, 2018). This system would provide a more reliable source of renewable energy, as the solar panels would be able to use the sun's energy to power the village during the day, and the battery bank would store the energy for use at night when the sun is not available. This system would also be more cost-effective than the diesel fuel generators, as the cost of the solar PV system is much lower than the cost of diesel fuel.
