Cloud Computing - Group Project
The project is application-oriented but focuses on the usage.
- Final submission, demonstration, and presentation, assessed for each group by the instructor
- Group project discussion and weekly updates in the discussion forum, assessed for each group by the instructor
- Assess an individual student's contribution to the project, including project discussion, weekly updates, and teamwork assessment from team members
Submit the following three deliverable files. Do NOT compress them into a single file.
1. One PPT file of the presentation slides
2. One Word report file including screenshots of the necessary steps to use and configure various services
3. One compressed file consisting of other resources, such as source code, etc. Do NOT compress other files
4. Speech for Presentation Slides, each member will get a maximum of 3 minutes, for a total of 4 members a group.
Demonstration:
- Each group demos the project, followed by a live presentation
- The application demo should be short (no more than 4 minutes), introducing the application interface, and walking through the main functions of the application
- Do NOT show how to set up/configure cloud services in the demo
Presentation:
- If the topic has been discussed in the lecture, briefly mention it in the project presentation, do NOT explain in detail unless it is necessary.
- Introduce the architect, functions/components of the project, and illustrate how the functions are implemented, what options are available, and which one is determined if there are multiple ones, and what configurations of the services are used

- Summarize the difficulties faced and how they are solved
For presentation slides:
- Include project title, group name, and group members' names on the cover page, in the order of the presentation
- Use slide page number
- No requirements on how many slides, but time limit of presentation is (12 - demo length) minutes, i.e, about 8 minutes
Report file:
1. Include project title, group name, and member info
2. Write a paragraph of project description
3. Use screenshots and corresponding captions for the necessary steps of the implementation
4. Category screenshots appropriately based on the functions/services
