A 77-year-old man who appears much younger than stated ago is presenting with a chief complaint of rectal bleeding for the last month on and off. He is married with 3 grown children, multiple grandchildren, and actively works as a realtor for "fun". His parents are over 100 and still living. He had a colonoscopy about 12 years ago which was negative and they said he was ok for 10 years. He has no family or personal history of GI cancer. He is a non and never smoker with a PMH of HTN and mild hyperlipidemia that he has managed with diet. His HTN is managed with 10mg of Lisinopril daily. He is an avid biker riding at least 30-60 minutes 5-6 days weekly. He denies diarrhea or constipation, and no genitourinary complaints. His exam shows normal BS, no abdominal tenderness or masses, no hepatomegaly and no splenomegaly. What are your next steps?
