Preoperative Diagnosis: Benign skin lesions, right and left chest wall Postoperative Diagnosis: Same Procedure: Excision of skin lesions, layered closure After the patient's right lateral chest wall was prepped and draped in the usual manner and after obtaining satisfactory analgesia, an elliptical skin incision was made at the right chest area. The 1.3 cm pigmented skin lesion with a 0.2 cm skin margin was excised and sent for pathology. Subcutaneous tissue was approximated with interrupted 4-0 Dexon and skin was approximated with subcuticular 4-0. Sterile dressing was applied. After changing gloves and with a new set of instruments, a 1.8 cm pigmented skin lesion with a 0.2 cm skin margin was excised from the left lateral chest wall. The skin was approximated with subcuticular 4-0 suture. Sterile dressing was applied. Patient tolerated the procedure well.
