Your research on kratom focuses on the benefits it gives people and the potentially dangerous consequences of its use. It is a type of stimulant, making people feel more energized and elevates their mood. You also learn that kratom is used for medical purposes in other countries, for example, as a way to make opium withdrawal easier. But, it does have addictive properties and it can lead to death in certain rare circumstances. Based on the information you have gathered, do you recommend banning kratom or legalizing it? Kratom should be banned. Not only is it addictive, the potential for harmful side effects and interactions cannot be ignored. Kratom should be legalized. Its effects seem to be no worse than those of other legal substances, such as alcohol and nicotine. In fact, it can even have some beneficial properties.
