Question

Sam is a care worker looking after an elderly Catholic man, Gerald Brown. Sam helps Gerald with daily tasks, including personal hygiene, getting dressed and preparing meals. Sam also arranges activities for Gerald and accompanies him. Unfortunately, Gerald has recently taken a turn for the worse. He is growing worried that he may pass away in his sleep, and has asked Sam a number of times to perform Last Rites on him to prepare him for the afterlife. Sam is not qualified to perform the task, and must seek assistance.
