Challenging Situations: Gyms are places where people engage in strenuous physical activities, which can sometimes lead to medical emergencies such as heart attacks, strokes, or severe injuries. Nurses must be prepared to provide immediate care and stabilize the patient until emergency services arrive. What I noticed in my observation were a few sprains and strains, in the gym. We as nurses need to assess the severity of the injury, provide first aid, and decide if further medical attention is required.
