Patients are always anxious when it comes to obtaining their results. You may come across a very impatient patient or a patient's caregiver/partner/family member/whom wants their results right away and the results may or may not be ready.

Just so happens a patient's spouse contacts your clinic on urgent matters of obtaining results that was performed 24hrs ago. You then look into your patient's medical chart and has found that his/her results are ready. Within your scope of practice, you as an MA how important and efficient do we disclose any information that is requested. Do we as healthcare professionals allowed to notify patient's results?
