3 year old patient requiring general anesthesia was prepped and draped and the right nostril was examined. FB appeared to be sponge of some sort, with noted degeneration indicating that FB had been in nasal passage for some time. FB was noted and was retrieved using forceps. Saline irrigation was used to ensure all particles of the FB had been successfully removed.
