Project Description:

The project involves identifying (selecting) a given (real) business organization that operates in the UAE, examining and studying its existing information systems and technologies, and determining and documenting the extent to which the six information systems objectives are being achieved (these objectives are discussed in Chapter One of your textbook). Then, you are expected to draw recommendations based on your study and analysis.

• You can use models, diagram. and illustrations in your final report to explain and support your analysis.
• The deadline for selecting and naming a company is Sunday Aoril 21. 2019.
• The final report must be structured, with the components it should include, as follows:

1. Introduction
• Brief description of the purpose of this project and your solution strategy or plan of how to accomplish it.

2. Background
• Briefly describe the business organization including its main business activity and products or services it offers.

3. The Nature and Types of Systems
• Identify and describe the various kinds of information systems used by this business organization. Explain the main purpose of each system and the users it serves.

4. The Business Objectives of Using Information Systems
• Identify and discuss the six objectives of information systems and how they apply to this organization.
• Explain how the information systems have helped (or not helped) the business organization achieve each of the six objectives as applicable.

5. Recommendations.
• Based on your analysis and discussion in part 4, provide some meaningful recommendations for maximizing the achievement of these objectives.
• Your recommendations should be logical, well-founded, and supported with evidence or reasoning

6. Conclusion.
• Provide a summary of your report
• Also include any lessons learned. and personal experiences and knowledge gained

Additional Report Requirements:
• Your project report should be around 2,500 words, or between 6-8 pages, following the SAME headings as above.
• Use font 12 times new roman and space a 1.5.
• Add a Cover Page with course information, semester, project title, report date. and group member names.
• You also need to include a References section to identify all sourees'resources used.
