A medical investigator wanted to test the claim that taking a multivitamin capsule with extra amounts of vitamin C would reduce the frequency of common colds. Pairs of children from the same family were randomly assigned to either the experimental group which received the vitamin C capsule or the control group which received a placebo capsule containing sugar. The parents kept a health record for their child for the year. At the end of a year, the number of days ill due to a cold was determined for each child. Test this claim using (Alpha=0.5) Given the data below:
