Most managers know that what cannot be managed cannot be controlled. Control mechanisms are important to a company's operations, efficiency, and effectiveness. Control mechanisms can also ensure failure or success. Control systems can influence outcomes affecting mission accomplishment and vision achievement. As a member of an organization, you may be subject to these control systems and may  have the opportunity to express an informed opinion on the tasks, people, and performance for which they are best suited.
