Suppose that for mass transfer of species A from a fluid flowing over a flat plate the Schmidt number is much less than one (Sc<<1). Derive an approximate theory for mass transfer in the in the concentration boundary layer. Obtain an expression for the mass transfer coefficient and the Sherwood number. Assume potential flow for the fluid.
