The factory has recently experienced a rise in workplace stress-related incidents, leading the management to bring in an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counsellor to provide onsite counselling services. One Monday morning, and Sarah, the EAP counsellor, arrived at the factory, where she has set up a designated counselling space. John a 35-year-old, an assembly line operator, has been experiencing severe work-related stress and anxiety, and his supervisor who is her neighbour and a close friend has referred him to Sarah for counselling. Sarah welcomes John into her counselling room, a small, private area away from the factory floor. They sit down, and Sarah begins the session by asking John about his concerns and feelings.
