1. Using your home or work computer, make a rough sketch of the computer's ports. Identify and describe each of the ports on your computer. You are free to hand-draw this sketch, take a photo or scan it and submit it.

2. In the past, central processing units (CPU) were single core that followed Moore's Law (look that up if you don't know what it is). You may have noticed that the listed speed of a processor has not increased much beyond 4.00 GHz. Instead, CPU's went from single core to multicore to make them faster and while still following Moore's Law. Please answer this research question: Why did CPU's move from single core to a multicore architecture?
