Problem

All organisms require nutrients to grow and maintain metabolism. The nutrients fall into two classes: macronutrients and micronutrients. What is the difference between the two?

For a three day span, we are going to track our nutrition. Log daily your intake of water, carbs, protein, fats, and at least 3 micronutrients of your choosing. Compare your intake to the daily recommended intake for your age group. (You can track someone else if that makes you more comfortable, or look up a typical diet online.)

In your post below, include your log, your comparison to recommended intake, and a reflection on your daily nutrition. Were you surprised by any of your findings? Is there anything you plan to change based on what you discovered?
