Case: You were hired as the Director of Training for a large retail store. A new training program, "Customer Service Decision-Making Skills for Retail Employees", has participants use a software program for one month to improve decision-making skills in retail settings. Ten of your retail employees (5 men and 5 women) completed the program in April 2022 and at the end of the program wrote a test covering the material. The test scores are presented below (possible grades on the test can range from 1 to 10 with 10 being the best score). In addition, the employees were evaluated by their supervisor on their decision-making skills at the workplace in November of 2022. These results are also provided (possible overall ratings are from 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score). Also assume that the employees participating in the program were of relatively equal ability prior to beginning the training program.
