Explain about One of the most important events of the of the 1980s and 2000s was the Iran-Contra affair. While the slide show mentioned the Contras and the Sandistas, I figured I could expand on the event itself. Regan was a hardline anti communist and because of this he was willing to fund the Contras byh any means, Ronald Reagan used a man called Oliver North to deal with this shaddy side of funding, and according to the Ollie North song Oliver North did this, "You see, North secretly sold missiles to a harmless country called Iran who would always be a grateful ally.
