If we have an opportunity to invest $100,000 in 3-year bonds and get a return of 9% each year and can get our returns at maturity, the current interest rate offered by the bank is 7% each year but you have access to the money at anytime. What would our PV of the $100k be for our investment compared to our savings opportunity? What is our NPV for both options?
