Internet of Things in your life

Since you live in the 21st century, it is more than likely that you encounter the internet of things (IoT) in your daily life. For example, if you use a badge to sign in to your office at work, you are engaging with IoT. If you have purchased Amazon's Alexa for your home, you are engaging with IoT. You may even be using the IoT more often than you realize, depending on how much technology you use. As you learned in this module, these technologies are pervasive as they interact with the internet and other devices, and in various aspects of our lives. Reflect on the IoT you engage with frequently.

Part 1

Identify three examples of the internet of things that you engage with (or would like to engage with) on a frequent basis.

Describe how you use (or would use) these technologies.

Discuss the positive and negative aspects of the pervasive nature of the IoT you identified.

Part 2.

Determine whether you use the same technologies that your peers discussed or have never heard of those IoT technologies.

Discuss whether you agree or disagree with your peers' ideas on the positive and negative aspects of IoT pervasiveness.
