While waiting in line at a community pharmacy to let staff know they are there for an interview, recent graduate Lynne observes the following interaction between the technician and a patient. As the patient approaches the window, the technician does not make eye contact, and while entering another prescription on the computer asks in a very bored tone "Can I help you?" The patient says they are there to pickup a prescription and gives their last name. The technician does not respond but proceeds to slowly walk over to the pickup bins to search for the order. Although the technician moves slowly, the drive through is full and there are multiple phones ringing. What potential outcome or repercussion for the pharmacy may result from this interaction?
