My potential topic at this point in time is aimed at the importance of designing for sustainment in defense programs. If we choose to spin out products rapidly without designing for sustainment, we are vulnerable to increased sustainment costs and potential availability concerns on the battlefield. Statistical or quantitative data comes into play when looking at sustainment costs for different defense products and availability data points. There are many things that play a role in the sustainment of a defense product, like spare parts, transportation, maintenance requirements, HAZMAT considerations, and many more. These different aspects of sustainment come with varying data points for consideration. I am still trying to refine my overall topic as I don't want to find myself too far along and not have enough available data points to support the topic. 150 words

Am deeply interested in a research topic centered on enhancing e-commerce through the use of artificial intelligence (AI). The rapid evolution of AI technologies offers tremendous potential to improve how consumers interact with brands and make purchasing decisions online. For my future doctoral research, I plan to employ quantitative methodologies to analyze consumer behavior data and AI outcomes. This could involve experimental designs where I manipulate AI interface variables to observe changes in consumer purchase patterns, or predictive modeling to forecast market trends based on AI integration. I think this is a new frontier in research that can help add a knowledge base on AI utilization.

While running my company, I have come to realize just how significant ecommerce has become in the modern. As such, I am interested in understanding how AI can improve ecommerce. 150 words.
