It has been brought to my attention that you enjoy eating fast food every so often due to your work scheduling. While having a burger a few times during the week may not seem harmful, it affects your health. Uric acids are a breakdown product of substances in food. The more burgers we eat, the higher our uric acid levels increase. When you have high uric acid levels, you become more susceptible to having health issues such as gout. Therefore, I strongly suggest that you cut back on the fast food. To better your health you really need to engage in a low purine diet. Try to create meal plans with items such as vegetables, fruit, or fish. If you don't consider this diet, obesity does become a risk factor which causes more stress onto your joints. You are also encouraged to report any adverse effects of your medications. If you experience any dizziness, vomiting, nausea, drowsiness, or signs of dermatitis please contact me immediately.
