Identify three (3) fitness or exercise misconceptions that you have come across, either from other people (friends, family, or strangers) or in the media and social media. This can include (but are not limited to) bogus fitness equipment claims, misconceptions about cardiorespiratory fitness or muscular size and strength, safety or effectiveness of a particular exercise, misconceptions about calorie expenditure and weight loss (please do not focus on dietary supplements) and partial truths that can be misleading to the typical consumer. Alternately, if there is an aspect of fitness or exercise about which you have heard conflicting or questionable "facts" and are not sure about, you can present those here as well. Your job is to introduce the claims/concepts in detail (remember, not all of your classmates may be familiar with this claim). If you have a web link to these claims/concepts, provide those as well. You may justify why you believe these concepts are misleading or inaccurate, but it is your classmate's job to do the myth busting! it should be at least 300 words.
