In this quantitative study the purpose was to identify the effect of family-centered care on those who face depression, anxiety and stress. In the clinical study the study population was on patients caring facing crisis. The method used for this article was a randomized clinical trial, where a group of patients received family centered care approach, meanwhile the other group did not. The levels of depressed was measured in both groups. The researchers identified that there was significant effects on depression when patients receive care using a family centered approach. In addition, family-centered practices were beneficial when family members were knowledgeable about the patients current health status, and well-being. As they were able to provide more support and take more action into the patient's care. This article is high-quality evidence because it was a randomized clinical trial which allowed for reduced bias and allowed to compare the results of the two groups. This study focuses on the challenges health care professionals face on patients diagnosed with depression. critically aprraise.
