A 28 month old girl, Lucy, is seen at the clinic because her grandmother, who has been the caregiver for the past year, notices a change in her behavior. She refuses to eat during mealtime and tantrums whenever she tried to use her fork. She furthermore has begun to bang her head on the floor whenever she doesn't get her way. Grandmother informs the nurse that lately she has difficulty staying asleep throughout the night. She inquires about using herbal remedies that she recalls her grandmother Mexico would use. She cries, "It has been too long since I had kids of my own and I do not know what to do".
