Overview: Asha Kaur Overview: Asha Kaur is a 32-year-old multip. She has a 6-year-old daughter at home and had a SVD of 38 week NBM. No complications in pregnancy or labour and came home from the hospital yesterday afternoon. Upon reviewing the hospital discharge liaison form, a few areas are highlighted by the hospital nurse. Mom has a hx of PPD with first pregnancy. Client had numerous visitors at the hospital and stated that she lives in a large traditional Sikh extended family. She is wanting to exclusively breastfeed this babe. She formula fed the first babe after trying to get babe to latch for two weeks. She is mobilizing well despite a 3rd degree tear. She is taking her pain medications as prescribed. You are assigned this client for assessment today and will be speaking to the client over the phone.
