Intrepid Capital Partners is a venture capitalist or private equity firm. Whereas most firms of this sort buy companies and sell them off in pieces, ICP works a little bit differently. They purchase weak companies, take the company and rebuild it as whole and then resell the entire company once it has been rebuilt as a strong company. ICP is organized as a Limited Liability Company who has elected to be treated as a corporation for tax purposes.
