Assessment Task

Start by creating the preparatory work for your practical demonstration. Write down what you are going to say in a preparatory document. This document is your personal notes and you can write it in a form that makes it easy for you to practice and memorize. Please note that this assessment includes both uploading the preparatory work AND participating in the role play. This type of learning (role-play) provides a controlled environment in which role-players can practice skills, roles and processes. In addition to preparing your own role play, learning is reinforced by observing other team members and offering comments and constructive feedback. Please read through the instructions and assessment information carefully, prior to commencing the tasks.

Preparatory Work

You are to role-play the team meeting but before the role-play starts you must prepare by creating a preparatory document. This document will contain eight main points that you are to address in the role-play, which are to discuss the following; you MUST verbally answer the following eight questions:

1. How you plan to use business technology to organise and prioritise work tasks and commitments
2. How you plan to measure and maintain personal work performance
3. Methods you are planning to use to assess competency against competency standards
4. Methods of seeking feedback 
5. Strategies for maintaining an appropriate work-life balance to manage personal health and stress
6. Any networks you participate in or networks you are planning on participating in 
7. The new skills that you have planned to develop, and the strategies you have highlighted to do so
8. Career objectives
