Chromic acid is a diprotic acid H2CrO4 with Ka1 = 0.18 and Ka2 = 3.2 x 10-7. A solution of potassium chromate is prepared at pH 5.43. Calculate the fraction of the total chromate in this solution that is present as the chromate ion CrO42-.
