At my previous facility I worked at, I noticed this one pre school teacher who was terrible at paying attention to her less vocal kids in her class. I would see this one child in particular pointing at objects to show interest, but she would not acknowledge him, I once even observed her look at him and look away without saying anything and I got her attention and asked did she see the child trying to show her the plane. Her response was "no I didn't". I stated well he was pointing at the plane showing interest in it and you didn't acknowledge him. I sometimes catch the kids attempting to get her attention and if I'm not busy I will acknowledge them and show interest in what they are pointing at.
