Question

One example of how systems thinking can be applied to affect positive outcomes is by focusing on a pregnant woman. Although the woman is the one carrying the baby, she has regular visits to the doctor to make sure she and the baby are ok. These appointments may include lab work, ultrasounds, dietician visits, financial counseling and more due to each pregnancy being unique to the individual. Every part of this pregnancy is to ensure the mother delivers her baby while she and her baby are safe. Just like a car isn't a car without all of the parts, a healthy pregnancy doesn't always happen without proper healthcare.
