Question: Some organizations conduct reviews more often than others, how often is too often and how long is too long? Do you think that this should depend on the type of job or do you think this should be across the board as a standard? I have listed a very short little article that asks many of these same questions from an HR Solutions Organization, which discusses some of the reasoning for these types of questions. However, I would like to know what you think about this because HR is in control of this type of activity for most organizations. What are some of the reasons why performance reviews are vital to the organization's overall growth and success? The typical answer is to have a review every six months...Do you think this is appropriate? Why? Please share some of your experiences with performance reviews and tell us what you think are the best options and reasons.
