Question: Assume that the number of cars in Indiana remains constant over the next 25 years. How much total electrical energy will be needed to supply the needs of electrical vehicles now, in 2030, 2040, and 2050? Compare this energy use to the total current energy use in Indiana. Make a table listing the energy required by EVs, the total energy required for the state, assuming other energy uses remain constant, and the percentage increase in electrical energy. Assume that the electrical energy use scale by the population. Bloomington's energy use will be the state energy use time the ratio of Bloomington's population to the state population. Make a new table listing your results for Bloomington.
