How do different leadership styles and models contribute to an individual's motivation? Based on your leadership evaluation, what motivates you?

In your search, you probably noticed several from which to choose. Why do you think there are so many different assessments out there?

Before I took the current Personal Leadership evaluation for last week's assignments, there has been several times before that I had taken an evaluation. I have taken evaluations before with prior classes and also with work. Every 6 months at my job, we would have evaluations done on our self and the management team. Depending on which evaluation you take, the results will vary and will be different. Some evaluations that I have taken before, the leadership was high, and then on others they were medium. One thing that I do enjoy is being a leader and helping others succeed in the things that they do. If you work hard at what you enjoy, you will go far. I get motivated by being acknowledge and being praised. If i been working really hard and my manager/boss notices it and tells me that I've been doing a good job, and then I work harder. There's only one thing that i don't like, and that's public speaking. I have never been a fan of getting in front of a crowd and talking. It's always made me so nervous to where I felt like I was going to get sick. I think that there are so many different assessments out there for all different types of work, values, meanings, and job fields.

Hello Class

I have never taken a formal leadership self-assessment test before taking this class the quiz I took was from Mindtools. I ranked a pretty good score which was between 53-90 which stated Excellent! You're well on your way to becoming a good leader. However, you can never be too good at leadership or too experienced - so look at the areas where you didn't score maximum points and figure out what you can do to improve your performance. After getting my score I looked at ways to improve my low scores in Self-Confidence being willing to take risks and go the extra mile to achieve better things.
