Summarize This video was interesting as I got to see some of the negative and positive sides of psychedelics. After watching this video, I can see how important it can be on the medical side but still fear it being legal outside of a controlled environment as the sporadic and uncontrollable danger seems frightening. I easily see how it could help someone in therapy regarding depression and anxiety among other issues. Outside of the medical field, it seems these drugs can provide great and profound perspectives regarding life, relationships, and existence. You can enter an altered state of consciousness that can transcend a normal experience. There can be a sense of interconnectedness and transcendence of time and space. It can change someone impactfully to become more open and empathetic while also healing trauma and emotional wounds. I still fear using this type of drug in an uncontrolled environment due to the safety of the user.
