Social media can be seen as powerful marketing tool for the organizations. Firms enjoy the luxury of reaching out millions of consumers on digital platforms with minimal costs. But it comes with costs as well. Especially when consumer/s detect quality issues in the products.
For example, in a recent Basket Ball game between Duke University and North Carolina, Zion Williamson's (college basketball superstar) Nike sneaker split in half causing an injury to the player.
