Overview The business research plan contains similar elements to the business research proposal for Assessment 1, but it is much further developed. That means, you will have to provide a more in-depth literature review. The research question needs to address a business issue, faced by an organisation. The research question needs to be grounded in previous theoretical and conceptual work (identified via your literature review).
You will need to provide detailed elaboration of the chosen research methods including discussion on how you plan to sample your respondents, collect and data analyse. Your elaboration of the ethical considerations need to be much further developed and justified. Your business research plan needs to provide planned research milestones, deliverables and benefits to the organisation. Benefits should consider economic, social, and environmental consequences.

Propose 2-3 specific deliverables from the research. Make sure that the research deliverables and benefits to participants, the organisation and/or society consider socially responsible business practices, and are supported by relevant sources. Explain specifically what your research will develop. This could be: guidelines, manual, policy recommendations, action plan, training material, benchmarking tool or other. Clearly discuss what new insights you will contribute to dealing with the business issue.
How organisations can benefit from these insights and to whom they are relevant. Explain how will your findings help improve an existing process, inform policy, or make a case for a concrete change to address the business issue.
