A hospital randomly contacts patients after their hospital stay to find if they were satisfied with their care. Results for the general satisfaction questions are ranked on a 5-point Likert Scale from Very Dissatisfied to Very Satisfied; and one additional question asks if the patient would recommend the hospital to family and friends, also on the same Likert Scale.
