To make the MHC successful it will need to be a place that the care providers want to work, and where patients feel welcome and supported. To ensure that this happens health care policies and procedures that are already established throughout the health system will be utilized to provide continuity of care in the case that the patient must obtain care in the main clinic space. The care team will continue to have open communication regarding the needs of the MHC to ensure that it is successful for the communities that they serve. To ensure well balanced staffing, staff members from the family practice and internal medicine divisions will have the opportunity to work on the MHC. The benefit of being part of a larger system allows staff flexibility between locations.
