Many processed and packaged foods that are gluten-free are not always made with the most nutrient dense ingredients. Choose THREE gluten-free products that you can purchase at the grocery store. Analyze the nutrition facts label and ingredients list. Compare the nutrition facts and ingredients list to the same version of the product that is not gluten-free. (Example gluten free waffles versus whole wheat waffles.)

Write a reflection explaining your findings. How did the cost of the products differ (gluten-free versus non gluten-free version)? How did the nutrition facts (calories, fat, sodium, fiber, sugar, protein) and ingredients differ? Would you say one is "more nutritious" than the other? Explain any barriers that you think someone who has celiac disease might encounter when purchasing gluten-free products. In order to receive full credit you must meet the minimum word requirement, include each of the items you analyzed, their nutrition facts label, and ingredient list.
