Premise:

1. You have been hired by the owner of Fuzzy Logic Radio properties to help with their data base design. In order to do so, you know that a interviews of management (and workers) is a great way to better understand the business processes, inputs, outputs, and business requirements. Unfortunately, you need to do this via written question as most of the staff is not available for a sit-down interview. Fuzzy is a company that owns a number of radio stations, both  traditional and Internetotels, motels and Inns.  The database is to be used  for various aspects of management of these stations.

For this discussion board, you will ask questions about Fuzzyand its operations in order to drive out the business rules for your logical database design. These questions will be answered by me (or other students, see below).   Each day you ask a legitimate question, you will be awarded five points. You can ask additional questions, but for a given day you are limited to five points earned.  After Friday,  the "single question per day"  limit will be removed, however you will find that a lot of questions have already been asked (and answered), so it may be difficult to be original and get points. (The early bird gets the worm.)  Thus, you need to have three legitimate questions to earn full credit. 

While I will try to answer questions as quickly as possible, feel free to "answer" another students post. You can earn a point for each answer (see limits below). When I see the answer, I will amend it as necessary or indicate it is good as is. (You can think of this as requirements being changed as new information is obtained, which happens quick frequently.)  provide three questions .

2. Provide answers for the following questions:

• What is the length duration limit of a single playlist?(This is to determine constraints for the PLAYLIST entity, and I assume that each PLAYLIST needs a time limit so that advertisements can be played)
• How do each radio know when or what time to play a particular playlists?
• How are staff paid - hourly or salaried? What are the min/max staff earnings ranges? ex: ($10,$50) per hour)?
