Luisa then called The Apple Store, and they told her the best they could offer was 50 new I-Pads for $30,000. Thinking this would be the best she could get, Luisa accepted Apple's offer on the Company's behalf. When she told her boss, he was furious because she had exceeded her authorization. After stewing for an hour, he told her the Company would honor the contract she had negotiated (and buy the 50 I-Pads for $30,000).
