After he fell, Rob was then taken to the hospital by ambulance. He was unconscious, and brain scans taken by the Emergency Room doctor at the hospital showed some minor bleeding on the brain. A brain surgeon was called in to perform surgery to stop the bleeding. During what should have been a fairly routine surgery, major complications developed. The surgery actually made the bleeding worse and caused Rob to have a stroke. After two months, Rob finally recovered but he wanted to sue his brain surgeon for medical malpractice.
