Question

Following the mechanical validation, human subject testing will be done under IRB approved protocols. The control group will consist of 30 healthy adults aged 18-65 years, prescreened to confirm no balance disorders are detected. Following established protocols [G], subjects will undergo a 30-minute standing protocol on the bathmat, divided into three phases: normal standing (5 minutes), specified weight shifts (5 minutes), and natural movement (20 minutes). All testing will use a safety harness for fall prevention with continuous data monitoring. For the experimental group, 30 adults with documented balance issues will undergo modified testing protocols with enhanced safety measures and potentially shortened duration based on individual capability.
